How to get there...

By Public Transport

Carcroft and Skellow is approximately 6 miles North of Doncaster Town Centre, lying in a semi - rural location between the A1 to the North and the A19 to the South. Located on the edge of the main routes to the North, the area is served by a railway station in Adwick (1 mile from the southern most part of Carcroft) with access through Doncaster to the South and East and from Adwick to the North and West. Services to mainline stations are hourly. Buses from local and into Doncaster are accessible every 20 minutes.

 

Car

If travelling by car from the A1 North you can exit the A1 just before the Red House Junction ( Junction 38 ), merge onto Hampole Balk Lane - B1220 (signposted Skellow) at Barnsdale Bar. Travel in to Carcroft (approx 1 mile)and turn left onto Chestnut Avenue and the Centre is on your left in the Park.

If travelling from the A1 South please exit at junction 38 (signposted A638 Wakefield) and head into Doncaster following signs for Adwick Le Street and Carcroft

From Doncaster head out on the A638 Wakefield Road, follow signs for Woodlands and Adwick Le Street and you will enter Carcroft.
